A graduate of vocal studies at the Fryderyk Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw, she completed her studies in the class of H. Słonicka. She participated in master classes led by R. Ruskov and S. Toczyska. While still a student, she made her debut at the Roma Musical Theatre in J. Offenbach’s Orpheus in the Underworld, and immediately after graduation became a soloist with the Warsaw Chamber Opera. On that stage, she performs the following Mozart roles: the Third Lady in The Magic Flute, Dorabella in Così fan tutte, and Carmi in Betula Liberated. She has also performed the roles of Olga in P. Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin, Karolka in L. Janaček’s Jenůfa, and Jadwiga in S. Moniuszko’s The Haunted Manor, a role she sang in 2002 at the invitation of the Cracow Opera in an open-air performance at Niepołomice Castle, and a year later on the stage of the Opera Nova in Bydgoszcz. She has also written other operatic roles, including Melo in G.F. Handel’s Sosarme, Bronia in S. Moniuszko’s The Countess, Magdalena in G. Verdi’s Rigoletto and Meg in G. Verdi’s Falstaff, and Suzuki in G. Puccini’s Madame Butterfly. She has an extensive repertoire of oratorios, cantatas, and songs. At the National Opera she has sung the role of Polina in P. Tchaikovsky’s The Queen of Spades (2004), Bersi in U. Giordano’s Andrea Chénier (2005), as a soloist in L. Janaček’s Notes of the One Who Disappeared (2006), and as the Second Lady in The Magic Flute (2006). On October 21, 2006, she sang Aza in the premiere performance of I.J. Paderewski’s opera Manru, which at the Opera Nova inaugurated the celebrations of the 50th anniversary of the Bydgoszcz opera scene (she continues to perform this role at the Bydgoszcz Opera). In 2007, she appeared in In the Land of the Magic Flute (2007), as well as Iza in Z. Krauze’s Yvonne, Princess of Burgundy (2007) and Magdalena in Rigoletto (2007). In 2005, she participated in a performance of K. Penderecki’s Polish Requiem at the final concert of the 1st Festival of Polish Music in Cracow, recorded by Polish Radio. She is a regular Carmen – she has sung the role in G. Bizet’s masterpiece on the stages of the Baltic Opera in Gdańsk, Opera Nova in Bydgoszcz, the Kraków Opera, the Grand Theatre in Łódź, and since 2016 also on the stages of the Podlasie Opera and Philharmonic – European Arts Centre in Białystok.
