Double bassist, chamber musician, and educator. He holds a postdoctoral degree in instrumental studies, specializing in double bass. He is an assistant professor at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw, Białystok Branch, Faculty of Instrumental-Pedagogical Studies, Music Education, and Vocal Studies. He is also a double bassist (first voice) in the symphony orchestra of the Podlasie Opera and Philharmonic – the Stanisław Moniuszko European Arts Centre in Białystok. He also teaches double bass at the Ignacy Paderewski Music School Complex in Białystok.

He is a graduate of the Primary State Music School in the piano class of Krystyna Wachowska and the Secondary W. Lutosławski Secondary Music School in Białystok in the double bass class of Prof. Dr. Hab. Leszek Sokołowski. In 2006, he graduated with distinction from the Fryderyk Chopin Academy of Music. He is a winner of awards and distinctions at double bass competitions. In 2000 he received 2nd award of National Audition for Cello and Double Bass Students of Secondary Music Schools in Elbląg. Jurors of national competitions, recognizing his artistic solo performances, awarded him several distinctions: 2002 – 7th National A. B. Ciechański Double Bass Competition in Poznań, 2006 – 1st National Double Bass Competition in Łódź, and 2013 – Double Bass Personalities Competition as part of the 1st International Double Bass Symposium in Wrocław.
In 2001, he received a scholarship from the National Children’s Fund. In 2003, he received a scholarship from the Minister of Culture and Art, and in 2015, the ‘Young Poland’ Scholarship from the Minister of Culture and National Heritage for the purchase of a double bass.

He participated in the International Youth Music Workshops in Szczecin and has participated in master classes in Warsaw, Wrocław, Poznań, Szczecin, Janowiec, Łańcut, and Białystok.
He preformed as a soloist with Concerto Avenna orchestra, Orchestra of the Podlasie Opera and Philharmonic – The Stanisław Moniuszko European Art. Centre in Białystok and Suwałki Chamber Orchestra. He also preformed at the I. J. Paderewski’s Museum (Royal Baths)in Warsaw during the concert under the under the patronage of the National Children’s Fund. He performed at the Lithuanian Academy of Music in Vilnius.

As an orchestral musician, he has collaborated with the Sinfonia Varsovia Orchestra, the Polish Radio Orchestra in Warsaw, the Polish Chamber Philharmonic in Sopot, and the NFM Leopoldinum Orchestra. Since 2002, he has collaborated as a chamber musician with pianist Dr. Olga Anikiej, giving concerts in Poland and abroad. In 2013-2014, he taught chamber music and orchestral studies as part of the “Music of Our Times” Orchestra and Chamber Workshops in Inowrocław, and in 2017, he taught individual classes as part of the “Time for Music” Summer Music Workshops in Szeligi near Ełk.

Since 2007, he has been employed at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music, Białystok Branch, where he teaches double bass and chamber music.
