January 22, 2019, at the age of 40, passed away Karol Sypytkowski—double bass player, bassist, composer, director of a recording studio Bass Studio. Graduate of Academy of Music in Warsaw faculty in Białystok and Institute of Jazz in Academy of Music in Katowice. Founder member of The Consonance Trio, a group we welcomed many times at our venues. Lately he cocreated the soundtrack to a movie which action takes place in Białystok, “The Dark Lady.” He cooperated with many of us in various projects.
