Description:
On 22 November 2025, Strauss’s opera will bring the glamour and charm of 19th-century Vienna to cinemas around the world in a beautiful production by legendary director Otto Schenk – a production that ‘is as lavish as one could possibly dream of’ (The New York Times).
The title role of the young aristocrat looking for love on her own terms will be played by soprano Rachel Willis-Sørensen. Her sister, Zdenka, will be played by soprano Louise Alder, and the role of the vivacious count who turns Arabella’s head will be played by bass-baritone Tomasz Konieczny.
