Two true icons of the 20th century. Two geniuses, whose works were drawing upon musical cultures of the whole world. Cuban overture originally entitled “Rumba” shows George Gershwin’s fascination with Hawaiian folklore and instruments. Concerto in F major claims the soul of the American lifestyle using the composition based on charleston, jazz and blues. The second part of the evening will start with masterfully instrumented and based on folklore motifs Rapsodie espagnole and famous Bolero referring to Spanish folk dance.
