CLOSE ART – IMPORTANT ART

Vernissage:
27th September 2025 | 4:30 PM
Exhibition Hall OiFP, Odeska 1

The Podlasie Opera and Philharmonic will become the venue for a unique event of high artistic value. As part of the next edition of the Podlasie Dimension of Art project, a collective exhibition will be held featuring the works of 15 artists from smaller towns in the Podlasie voivodeship, giving them the opportunity to promote themselves more widely and make their mark in a prestigious cultural space. The artistic diversity of our region will be presented not only through paintings, but also through graphics, drawings, watercolours and sculptures. Each artist will bring their unique creative language, style and sensitivity to the exhibition, creating a coherent story about emotions, everyday life and spirituality rooted in the Podlasie landscape.

The musical setting for the vernissage will be provided by Joanna Zubrycka Miss God – singer, composer and music producer.

During the project, we will also invite you to a curatorial tour with the artists, who will talk about their inspirations and roots.

The aim of the exhibition is to emphasise that art does not have to be distant, elitist or incomprehensible. It can – and should – be close to people.
The exhibition will feature works by artists such as Maryla Babulewicz, Włodzimierz Dąbkowski, Paweł Karpiuk, Agata Michałowska, Kamila Muśko-Parfieniuk, Tomasz Odziejewicz, Aneta Olszewska-Kołodziejska, Magdalena Rusiecka, Wojciech Rusiecki, Marek Sapiołko, Łukasz Sobkowiak, Andrzej Taraszkiewicz, Olga Wielogórska and Ina Wisłowska.
