This unique concert is dedicated to all women, especially mothers. The concert will feature songs by composers such as Włodzimierz Korcz, Zbigniew Łapiński, Paweł Puszczało and Panajot Bojadżijew. Lyrics were written by Wojciech Młynarski, Jacek Kaczmarski, Andrzej Poniedzielski and Danuta Sokołowska, among others.
Icons of Polish music from the last few decades will perform:
Kuba Sienkiewicz – an artist with an extraordinary sense of humor and stage personality; vocalist, author of lyrics and music, winner of the ‘Superjedynki’ award at the Polish Song Festival in Opole in 2025.
Beata Molak – a vocalist with a charismatic stage presence and an extraordinary voice, winner of numerous awards, including the Grand Prize at the 1989 Polish Song Festival in Opole.
Danuta Błażejczyk – a vocalist with an unforgettable voice; Winner of numerous awards, including the Grand Prize at the 1986 Polish Song Festival in Opole and the Superjedynki Award at this year’s festival in Opole.
Lora Szafran – considered one of the most outstanding Polish jazz vocalists, she has participated in numerous international song festivals throughout her career, winning the following: Sopot ’90 – Grand Prix and Amber Nightingale, Bregenz – Austria ’90, and Cesme – Turkey ’91.
Jolanta Wagner – a graduate of the Vocal and Acting Department of the Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz in the class of Prof. K. Rymarczyk. She has collaborated with the Castle Opera in Szczecin, the Opera Nova in Bydgoszcz, the Teatr Wielki – National Opera, the Grand Theatre in Poznań, the Cracow Opera, the Silesian Opera in Bytom, the Musical Comedy Theatre in Saint Petersburg, the Pomeranian Philharmonic in Bydgoszcz, the Polish Philharmonic ‘Sinfonia Baltica’ in Słupsk, the Kashubian Philharmonic in Wejherowo, the Capella Bydgostiensis Chamber Orchestra, the Szafarnia – Chopin Centre, the Military Orchestra in Bydgoszcz, the Military Orchestra in Toruń, and the I.J. Paderewski Centre in Kąśna Dolna, among others.
A multi-style concert, musically rich thanks to the extensive musical arrangements of Paweł Puszczało, bassist and double bassist, lecturer at the Grażyna and Kiejstut Bacewicz Academy of Music in Łódź, who took over the musical direction of the ensemble of musicians accompanying all the exceptional artists performing in this concert:
