Concert Hall, Podleśna Street 2
On January 9th, we invite you to a Carnival Evening filled with the rhythms of popular music, operetta, classical music inspired by jazz and swing, and even dance music.
The artists will take you on a beautiful journey through the melodies of well-known and beloved pieces. In this incredibly eclectic concert program, you will hear, among others, the Orchestral Suite from the musical West Side Story by L. Bernstein, the Piano Concerto in F major by G. Gershwin, and the aria Whoever Kisses My Lips Dreams from the operetta Giuditta by F. Lehár. We will also feature the beloved Polka Thunder and Lightning Op. 324 by J. Strauss (son) and the equally energizing Radetzky March Op. 228 by J. Strauss (father).
The Podlasie Opera and Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Maestro Mirosław Jacek Błaszczyk, will perform with soloists Artur Jaroń (piano), Karolina Kolińska (soprano), and Daria Lahotska (soprano).
We cordially invite you to this exceptional concert!
