In the Rhy(th)ms of Tuwim: The Mystery of Great-Great-Grandfather’s Chest
The Podlasie Opera and Philharmonic received an EU grant in a competition under the National Recovery Plan to organize music workshops exploring Julian Tuwim. In October, November and December artists from the OiFP will conduct 40 hours of workshops for students from schools located in the Podlaskie Voivodeship.
In the Rhy(th)ms of Tuwim’: The Mystery of Great-Great-Grandfather’s Chest is a poetic journey through words, music, and rhythms intended for primary school students in the Podlaskie Voivodeship. The aim of the workshops is to introduce young audiences to the work of Julian Tuwim – an outstanding Polish poet through an innovative combination of workshops and interactive elements. The workshops will be one of the kind music and literature lesson, developing literary skills, logical thinking, and environmental awareness. A modern application summarizing the knowledge acquired during the workshops will complement the workshops and provide a lasting impact.

The National Institute of Music and Dance is the Supporting Unit for Investment A2.5.1, a program to support the activities of entities in the cultural and creative sectors to stimulate their development as part of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan. The aim of the Investment is to prevent the long-term negative effects of the COVID-19 pandemic and encourage green and digital transformation in the cultural and creative sectors.
