Composer, arranger, conductor, and academic lecturer. He composed the musicals Pora Jeziora (2021) and Kopernik (2023). He leads his own ensemble, the Tomasz Szymuś Orchestra, composed of the finest Polish instrumentalists, with whom he regularly performs and records. He is known for his collaborations with prominent figures on the Polish music scene. He arranged and conducted the concerts celebrating the 20th anniversary of TVN and the 25th anniversary of POLSAT. He conducted the 100th anniversary of the Forest Opera in Sopot. From 2016 to 2017, he led the Film Music Concerts, which he arranged himself, and which performed in star-studded settings in major Polish cities. He collaborates with outstanding artists from both the Polish and international entertainment scene. As a conductor and arranger, he has been preparing musical settings for prestigious festivals, musical, and cultural events for many years. Festivals in Sopot, Opole, Cracow – the TWIST Festival in memory of Zbigniew Wodecki. He successfully conducts the largest galas musically: the European Film Awards, the Festival of Stars in Międzyzdroje, “Golden Ducks,” and the Monte Carlo Circus Festival. Tomasz Szymuś has also collaborated with the ROMA Musical Theatre in Warsaw on performances: Peter Pan, Miss Saigon, Cats, Grease, and Dance of the Vampires. A significant part of his oeuvre is devoted to work in television music programs. For over a dozen years, he has conducted his orchestra on the program Dancing with the Stars, for which he also writes arrangements. He was the musical director of the music program X-Factor and has also worked on the production of music programs: Mam talent, Must be the music, Szansa na sukces, Tata Show, Idol, Dubidu, OPPA, Malwy, Budzik, and Od przedszkola do Opola. He has released dozens of CDs, including recorded with his orchestra, his compositions (music from the musical Pora Jeziora) and with outstanding artists of the Polish stage as a music producer, conductor, arranger, composer and performer (keyboard instruments).
