Artist of the Podlasie Opera and Philharmonic Choir. Bas.
The artist, a painter, was born in Gomel, Belarus, in 1971. He graduated from the Belarusian Academy of Fine Arts in Minsk, Belarus (faculty of easel painting). He has lived in Poland since 1996. He works in oil painting and original songwriting. As a bard, he writes his own lyrics and also composes music to lyrics by poets such as Nadzieja Artymowicz, Jan Czykwin, and others. He performs regularly. Since 2006, he has worked with the Podlasie Opera and Philharmonic Choir. He lives in Białystok. His works have been presented at numerous individual exhibitions: My small city, small as a raindrop (Museum in the Town Hall in Bielsk Podlaski, 1997), Atmospheres of the borderland (Gallery of the Arsus Cultural Center in Warsaw, 1998), Museum of Belarusian Culture in Hajnówka (1998), Works – year 1999 (Culture Center in Bielsk Podlaski, 2000), Borderland art – borderland of arts (Gallery Schody in Warsaw, 2000), E Gallery (Warsaw, 2001), Open Circle Gallery (Wilanów, 2002), Podlasie Opera and Philharmonic in Białystok (2008) and Spodki in Białystok (2009). He has also released several music releases: Tomasz Sulima, Oleg Kobzar Trecciaje wakno (1999–2000), Oleg Kobzar Twelve Dreams (2007), Oleg Kobzar, Nadzieja Artymowicz Brzeg (2010).
