Baritone, second-year student of the Master’s degree in vocal performance in the class of Prof. E. Biegas and M.A. Ł. Gaj at the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice. In 2021, he was a finalist in the international M. Schneider-Trnavský vocal competition in Trnava. In 2022, he received an honorable mention at the 8th Interuniversity Chamber Competition for Instrumental and Vocal Duets in Wrocław. The artist has also got honors at the international vocal competitions Iuventus Canti in Vráble (2022, 2023) and Ars et Gloria in Katowice (2023). In 2022, he participated in conducting courses with D. Oren, working on duets with Gilda in G. Verdi’s opera Rigoletto. In 2023 he performed solo parts in: Carmina Burana by C. Orff (Silesian Opera) under the direction of M. Tomasiewicz, Vespers of Our Lady of Jasna Góra Queen of Poland by P. Łukaszewski (Podlasie Opera and Philharmonic) under the direction of M. Błaszczyk, and created the role of Schaunard in La bohème by G. Puccini directed by M. Znaniecki with the NUSO orchestra under the direction of J. Dybała (Academy of Music in Katowice). He completed his bachelor’s studies by performing the part of the Count in a concert version of W.A. Mozart’s The Marriage of Figaro under the direction of J. Dybała. In 2024 he performed solo parts in: Stabat Mater by A. Dvořák (OiFP) under the direction of M. Błaszczyk, The Creation of the World by J. Haydn (Silesian Philharmonic) conducted by Y. Shemet. The artist has also created the roles of: Silvio in I Pagliacci by R. Leoncavallo (OiFP) directed by M. Znaniecki under the direction of M. Caldi, in which he also served as assistant director; Marcello in a concert performance of La Bohème by G. Puccini (Ignacy Paderewski Centre) with the NUSO orchestra conducted by V. Liashko; Jakub in The Raftsman by S. Moniuszko (Toruń Symphony Orchestra) directed by M. Znaniecki under the direction of A. Banaszak; and the title role in G. Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi directed by M. Znaniecki with the NUSO orchestra conducted by J. Dybała (Silesian Opera / Academy of Music in Katowice).
