This Polish soprano comes from a musical family and is a third-generation opera singer. She began her vocal and musical education as a cellist and then earned a doctorate in music from the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław. She made her professional opera debut as Violetta in G. Verdi’s La Traviata and won the Jan Kiepura Award for ‘Debutant of the Year’. She has won over 20 awards in international competitions, including the 1st International Eva Marton Vocal Competition in Hungary (3rd prize, 2014), the IVC ‘s-Hertogenbosch International Vocal Competition (finalist, 2014), and the Jāzeps Vītols International Vocal Competition in Latvia (1st prize, 2015). After her spectacular success in the role of Armida in J.B. Lully’s opera Armida, she was named Operatic Revelation of the Year and won the International Giuseppe di Stefano Award. Her operatic repertoire includes 30 main operatic roles, including: Countess (The Marriage of Figaro, W.A. Mozart), Donna Anna (Don Giovanni, W.A. Mozart), Elettra (Idomeneo, W.A. Mozart), Halka (Halka, S. Moniuszko), Leonora (Il trovatore, G. Verdi), Liu (Turandot, G. Puccini), Micaëla (Carmen, G. Bizet), Mimi (La bohème, G. Puccini), Nedda (Pagliacci, R. Leoncavallo), Olimpia, Antonia, Giulietta and Stella (The Tales of Hoffmann, J. Offenbach), Pamina, the First Lady (The Magic Flute, W.A. Mozart), Roxana (King Roger, K. Szymanowski), Tatiana (Eugene Onegin, P. Tchaikovsky), Thaïs (Thaïs, J. Massenet). She has performed in opera houses and concert halls around the world, including Poland, Italy, France, Germany, the Netherlands, the USA, Argentina, Japan, Romania, Ukraine, Lithuania, Latvia, Kosovo, Portugal, and Indonesia. Throughout her career, she has collaborated with numerous directors, conductors, and trainers, including M. Epstein, A. Manoli, A. Yurkevych, M. Znaniecki, and T. Żylis-Gara. In 2021, in collaboration with pianist G. den Broeder, she released the solo album Polish Soul, featuring songs and opera arias by Polish composers. Her upcoming engagements include performances at the Berlin Philharmonic, the São Carlos Opera in Lisbon, the Altmark Festival, the Frankfurt Philharmonic, and during the Sinfonietta Cracovia anniversary celebrations. She lives in Spain with her husband and two-year-old twins.
