CASTING FOR THE PODLASIE OPERA AND PHILHARMONIC YOUTH CHOIR
Are you 19-26 years old? Is singing your passion? Join us!
The Podlasie Opera and Philharmonic invites talented individuals to participate in the casting for the Youth Choir. This is your chance to perform on a professional stage!
WHAT WE OFFER?
• Development of vocal skills in a professional music environment;
• Workshops on a variety of artistic styles;
• Opportunity to gain stage experience during concerts and repertoire performances;
• Artistic collaboration with the Podlasie Opera and Philharmonic Choir and other artistic ensembles within the institution.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We welcome applicants aged 19 to 26.
Knowledge of sheet music and basic vocal skills are highly recommended.
CASTING PROCEDURE:
STAGE I (online) – applications due February 20th
Send us a recording of your vocal performance of any piece. Please include your name, surname, and age in your application. Please send your applications to: przesluchania@oifp.eu with the subject ‘Casting for the Youth Choir of the OiFP’.
STAGE II (onsite) – March 2nd
Successful candidates will be invited to an audition for the Polish Chamber Orchestra of the Polish Chamber of Sciences (OiFP).
• Presentation of the piece from Stage I before the jury;
• Vocal range test.
IMPORTANT DATES:
February 4: Opening of the application process
February 20: Deadline for video submissions
February 23: Announcement of Stage I results (via email)
March 2: Stage II auditions (in-person at the OiFP)
March 5: First rehearsal/organizational meeting
ORGANIZATIONAL INFORMATION:
Choir rehearsals will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

We would like to inform you that Stage II auditions will be recorded (video and audio recording).
