Each year during summer season we open the viewing terrace on the Opera’s roof. The viewing terrace in open on Saturdays and Sundays during the whole summer. This year that means period from May 4 to September 29, 2019.

Tickets for the price of the symbolic 5 PLN are in sale at the box office, and on the days when the box office is closed, they are sold in Opera’s foyer or outside near the stairs to the terrace.

Viewing terrace opening hours:
high season (May–June and September)
 11.30–20.00 (purchase/collect the tickets before 19.00)
low season (July–August)
 11.30–21.00 (purchase/collect the tickets before 20.00)

We kindly remind you also that our box office sometimes has irregular opening hours. It is worth to check, and they are continuously updated at the footer of the homepage.

To enter the viewing terrace you need to use the stairs at the back of the building (from the side of the St. Marie Magdalene orthodox church). Children up to 13 years of age may enter for free by showing school ID, but they need to be with an adult (that does not apply to school organised groups).

Mind out, if the weather conditions are bad (rain, strong wind etc.) the entrance will not be possible. During beautiful weather—feel invited!
